CSU Police resolve robbery at E. 22nd St. and Euclid Avenue

Cleveland State University police responded to a robbery that occurred at 2:26 p.m. at E. 22nd St. and Euclid Avenue, reported by the university in a CSU EMERGENCY ALERT at 2:56 p.m.

In the first follow-up alert at 3:07 p.m., the suspects were described as a Black male wearing a blue hat, white shoes and backpack, as well as a Black female wearing a black and white hoodie, leaving the scene heading south.

In a second follow-up alert at 3:17 p.m., the university reported that CSU PD “cleared the emergency” and that normal activities could resume.

*In a follow-up email the next morning, CSU reiterated the details of the incident, including that the suspects, who were CSU-affiliated, had approached a CSU-affiliated male, demanded and took money from him.

There were no injuries reported. CSU PD are continuing to investigate.
