Happy New Year from me and the rest of the Cauldron team.
As we begin 2026, I wanted to take a moment to share an important update with our readers. Some of you may have noticed that The Cauldron has not published new content since December 2025. This pause was not accidental, nor was it without purpose.
Over the past several weeks, The Cauldron has been in the process of transitioning to a new public website domain. After losing access to our previous domain, csu-cauldron.com, our team worked to secure a new home for the publication that would allow us to continue serving the Cleveland State University community in a sustainable and accessible way.
I am excited to officially announce that The Cauldron is now operating under its new domain, cauldronnews.com.
This transition is part of a broader effort to evolve how The Cauldron is run and how we present ourselves online. As a student-led organization, periods of change can require patience, flexibility, and time, and I appreciate our readers for extending that grace to us.
Looking ahead, many positive changes are on the way. Readers can expect new content, fresh perspectives, and improvements to our digital presence in the weeks to come. These updates are intentional and aimed at strengthening the publication for both our staff and our audience.
Thank you for your continued support and for growing with us. We are excited for what lies ahead and look forward to reconnecting with you very soon.
Stay warm,
Editor-In-Chief of The Cauldron, Hannah Gates
