Cleveland State University (CSU) continues its uneventful crime streak for spring 2025, with three open charges including a felony standing out in week five, according to the CSU 60-day crime log.

The open felony is a charge of credit card misuse reported at the Wolstein Center at 9:23 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12. Per the CSU athletics composite calendar, the only game that occurred in the Wolstein Center that night was CSU men’s basketball versus Robert Morris at 7 p.m.

A charge of criminal damaging or endangering in the West Garage was reported on Monday, Feb. 9, and has since been referred to the student judiciary. Charges of failure to disclose personal information and disorderly conduct were reported in the Student Center on Wednesday, Feb. 10, and remain open.

Rhodes Tower West also saw a crime report this week, with a charge of menacing recorded on Feb. 12. The status of the charge isn’t listed. The Cauldron reached out to CSU General Counsel on Feb. 17 to find out more about this crime report and awaits response.

Four separate smoke alarms in residence hall Euclid Commons constitute the remainder of crime reports for the week.
