Theft and petty theft led week eight’s crime reports, with criminal trespass following suit, according to the Cleveland State University (CSU) 60-day crime log.

And students and community members who regularly park in East Garage may want to exercise extra caution.

Three separate crime reports at East Garage were made, one on Oct. 15 and two on Oct. 18, featuring various charges of theft and criminal trespass. One report in particular lists three charges of theft and two charges of criminal trespass. All three cases remain open.

On Monday, Oct. 13, a report of petty theft, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct in the Student Center was made, and all three charges are still open. Another report at the Student Center, made Friday, Oct. 17, ended in an arrest for criminal trespass.

Petty theft was also reported in Berkman Hall on Thursday, Oct. 16.

An off-campus car break-in, reported on Saturday, Oct. 18, lists the only two felonies of the week and also includes a charge of theft. This case remains open as well.

Using the 60-day crime log, available in person at the CSU Police Department and online, students can access the list of crimes from the past week. Below, they have been compiled into one list.
