Cleveland Ohio is home to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Playhouse Square, West Side Market, and the birth of Superman. Located on the shore of Lake Erie with a history of innovation, Cleveland is climbing the ranks nationwide. 

Cleveland’s sports scene is one that’s constantly busy. From the Browns, Charge, Cavaliers, Monsters, and Guardians there’s always a sports game taking place. 

Each team plays in their own league. But they all play for Cleveland.

The Cleveland Browns

The Cleveland Browns currently reside in downtown Cleveland at Huntington Bank Field. They belong to the National Football League and the American Football Conference. They currently sit in the bottom of the standings for AFC North. 

They play every Sunday and currently hold a 2-6 record. The next game is Sunday, Nov. 9, at the New York Jets. 

Tickets for these games range from $23 to  $2,000. 

The Cleveland Cavaliers

The Cavaliers opened their season this month at Rocket Arena. They finished preseason with a record of 1-3. The regular season opened up last week on Oct. 22 in New York against the Knicks. The Cavs are now 3 games into the regular season and have a 2-1 record. 

Last season the Cavs made it to the East Conference Semifinals, but fell to the Indiana Pacers in the second round. Last year was one of the best years in team history up to their loss against the Pacers. 

They’ll play the Los Angeles Lakers on Jan. 28 and again on March 31, marking the return of Lebron James, an Ohio Native and previous Cavaliers player.

Tickets for these games range from $19to close to$200. 

The Cleveland Monsters

The Cleveland Monsters, an AHL minor-league hockey team that resides in Rocket Arena.  They’re members of the Northern Conference within the AHL and currently ranked 6th.

The Monsters are 2-3 this season. Their next home game is Nov. 7, against the Providence Bruins. 

Ticket prices range from $12 to $100.

The Cleveland Guardians

The Guardians, Cleveland’s local Major League Baseball Team, ended their season on Oct 2. with a loss to the Detroit Lions. Despite their low record they managed to pull together a winning streak toward the end of the season and make it as a wild card team into the playoffs. 

They’re located at Progressive Field in downtown Cleveland. 

The Guardians are done for their season, but the 2026 season opens March 26 at home versus the Seattle Mariners.

The Cleveland Charge

The Cleveland Charge is a member of the National Basketball Association G League and affiliates with the Cavaliers. They reside in Public Hall in downtown Cleveland. The Charge is still in preparation for their season which kicks off on Fri, Nov. 7, in Des Moines, Iowa versus the Iowa Wolves.  

Last season the Charge finished eleventh in their conference and earned the President’s Choice Award for strong business operations and community engagement.

“This award is a testament to the hard work of our entire Cleveland Charge organization,” said Charge President Rocco Maragas. “Being recognized for excellence in all areas – community engagement, promotional creativity, revenue and several others – is incredibly rewarding. We’re proud to set the standard for what it means to run a world-class organization in the NBA G League.” 

The team’s home opener is Friday, Nov. 14, at Cleveland Public Hall. The first 2,000 fans will receive a schedule mini hoop. Tipoff is at 7 p.m.
Tickets range from $13 to $71.
