The Cleveland State women’s soccer team defeated Morehead State in a clean sweep of 3-0 on Sunday, Sept. 14 at Krenzler Field.
The first goal was scored by sophomore Olivia Cruz, finishing a pass from senior Mayra Sesmas. After this, Ryleigh Alcala, a freshman, scored her first collegiate goal, setting the team up 2-0 at halftime. In the second half, the winning goal was scored by senior Tanji Sarver off a pass from Alcala.
